A house of workers, carefully kept.
Founded in 2019 in Addis Ababa, Darul Amal is a licensed Ethiopian foreign employment agency dedicated to ethical, transparent, and dignified placement of domestic workers with Saudi households.
From a small office to a covenant.
Darul Amal — "House of Workers" in Arabic — was born from a simple conviction: that the movement of workers between Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia deserves the same care, dignity, and documentation as any sacred trust.
We began with a single desk and a refusal to cut corners. Six years later, we have placed nearly 3,000 workers, maintained a 94% contract completion rate, and built partnerships with 38 Saudi recruitment offices across 7 cities. Every placement follows the same 12-stage process, every time.
What guides every decision.
Dignity First
Every worker is someone's daughter, sister, mother. We never treat a human being as inventory. Dignity informs every process, every conversation, every document.
Radical Transparency
Fees, timelines, contracts — everything in writing, in both languages. No hidden charges, no verbal promises, no ambiguity. Receipts on request, always.
Accountability
We answer to the Ethiopian Ministry of Labour, the Saudi Embassy, and to the families on both sides. Our license number is public. Our record is open.
Long-Term Care
Placement is not the end — it's the beginning. Monthly check-ins, 24-hour hotline, mediation, and a safe route home if ever needed. Welfare without end.
The people behind the promise.
Our leadership team brings together experience in Ethiopian labour law, Saudi regulatory compliance, social work, and international operations.
